Page Points, Page Nibs, Book Darts? OH MY!
Many people have asked us about the Levenger Catalog Co. and our relationship to Page Points
and Page Nibs. Levenger, purveyors of Tools for Serious Readers, sold millions of our Book Darts
under the
name Page Points until they introduced the "improved" (though thicker
and less elegant) Page Point.
We've since learned that this experience with Levenger was hardly unique,
and so, were not surprised to
find that these
redesigned linemarkers, now known as Page Nibs,
failed
to
recapture the appeal and quality
of the original Book Darts design.
Levenger introduced
us to the world at large, and for that we are glad.
Perhaps when they've given up on their various attempts
at "improvement", they'll let inquiring customers
know how to obtain the original Page Point. We know
many of you have
been asking Levenger this very
question
